Canadian
Artist Raquel (Cheli) Chelouche,is a jewelry
designer and healer.
She expresses her artistic abilities creating unique
jewelry pieces incorporating special healing stones and crystals.
Due to her interest in history in general and jewelry history, she
stumbled upon the Maile art, which is knitting with metal
rings using 2 pliers she was fascinated. The idea that people used
the same technique centuries ago gave her the inspiration for her
jewelry pieces. A perfect marriage with the healing stones since they
are part of our planet. Weaving ancient and contemporary eras
together. Each of her jewelry piece carries her healing powers.
Her
jewelry is been worn all over the world.
She
starts coiling a wire, cutting into tiny ring and proceed to the
final design during her weaving, using different metals like. Silver,
14k Gold Fill, Brass, Stainless steel and more. She incorporate only
Genuine Gemstone, Semi-Precious and crystal. Her jewelry is
meticulously handcrafted and time consuming but, for her it is a
labor of love and she would love to share them with you.
